Bobbie was born in Wenatchee, Washington on March 11, 1939 to the late Edwin and Viola Sweet. Bobbie met her husband, Patrick, in Spokane Washington in 1956 and they were married on August 21, 1958. After living for three years in the Washington, D.C. area, the couple located there family of four permanently in Fort Collins in 1964. She worked for Eastman Kodak in Windsor, Colorado from 1972 until 1993.
She is survived by: her husband, Patrick McKee; her son, Robert “Bob” McKee; daughter in-law, Rena Littleton of Fort Collins; daughter, Cindy McKenna and her daughters, Catie and Kellye, all of Corinth, Texas; daughter, Becky and her husband Michael Shannon and their children, Mathew, Steven, Sean and Brian, all of Bradenton, Florida; daughter, Debbie McKee of Fort Collins and Debbie’s sons, Nestor Garrido of Costa Rica. And Patrick Garrido of Jupiter, Florida; Bobbie’s brother, David and his wife Ann of Spokane, Washington; brother, Leroy Sweet and his wife Karen of Olympia, Washington; brother, Patrick Sweet and his wife Wendy, and sister, Lathy and her husband Bob Hess, all of Spokane, Washington; and many nieces and nephews.
Bobbie enjoyed living in the mountains, hiking, gardening, reading, rooting for the Denver Broncos and being part of her children’s and grandchildren’s lives.
It is fair to say Bobbie was loved by all who knew her for her sunny smile, warm and caring disposition, and positive outlook on life.
A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Allnutt Funeral Service, Fort Collins with a reception to immediately follow in the Allnutt Drake Reception Center.
