She was born on March 22, 1949 to Harry and Joan (Floyd) Polland in Billings, Montana.
Ann's family moved around to multiple places while she was growing up. They ended up finding their home in Colorado and built their family there. Ann stayed around Colorado for the rest of her life and lived everywhere throughout the state including Greeley, Evans, and Fort Collins. She attended Aims Community College and had multiple careers following her time there.
Ann absolutely loved her family, her grandkids, and all of the dogs she had throughout her life. She was very caring, kind, and giving, and was always there for her family when they needed her. She was independent, strong, and hardworking. Ann was also very outspoken.
Ann is survived by her daughter, Kristie Fry; son, Cody (Jodi) Cooper; brothers, Steve (Sue) Polland and Jody (Linda) Polland; grandchildren, Michael, Kayla, Colt, Eric, and Brittany; and her great-grandchildren, Bella, Thaddeus Joseph, Stevie Lynn, Zoey Lee, and Trevor James.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Rod Ketels; parents, Harry and Joan; brother, Mark Polland; and her sister-in-law, Patty Polland.
A Celebration of Life for Ann will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at their home.
