LAUB--Robert, age 96, passed away June 1, 2012. He is survived by Hortie, his beloved wife of 65 years, his devoted children Deborah and Alan Bender, Donna and Jeffrey Kramer. He was a role model for adoring grandchildren Marc Bender/Rachel, David Bender/Jen, Rachel Mazor/Mark, Joshua Kramer, and five great-grandchildren who were the loves of his life. He was a proud veteran of WWII, and a successful sportswear manufacturer. A true gentleman whose charisma enriched the lives of everyone he met. He will be greatly missed. Funeral service Sunday, 11am at Riverside-Nassau North Chapels, 55 North Station Plaza, (opposite LIRR), Great Neck, NY. Shiva will be observed at the residence of Donna and Jeffrey Kramer, 1 Robin Hill Road, Harbor Hills, New York, Sunday immediately following the interment and Monday and Tuesday from 2-5pm and 7-10pm.
