To my cousins Larry, Steve, Lori and your beautiful families.  My memories of your mother (and father) are so deep rooted in my growing up years in Valley Stream while your family was in Franklin Square.   I always considered your mother more of a peer than a real Aunt because she was so much younger than most of her sisters.  Something I know, but don't actually remember, is when your mother and dad got married I was her Flower girl.  Then you do know that when I got married Lori, better known to me as Lulubell,  was my Flower girl.  I think that is notable.  Larry and I talked the other night and remembered that I baby sat for all of you so many, many times.   Your mom was a wonderful support system for me when Mark died and she emotionally helped me get through that period of my life.  I have much to be grateful to your Mom for but mostly her enduring love and support for all of her family.  May God be with her and she should and will rest in peace.

What a wonderful legacy your mom leaves behind. I imagine she is with Abe and Leon as well as her sisters and brother.  What an incredible life she lived.  As you may recall, as a young adult I spent 2-3 weeks each summer with Cookie, Abe, Leon, Fay in NY.  What a wonderful time and great memories.  She was always looking after my grandparents, taking care of the house when they were traveling, talking on the phone, visiting daily, and keeping Leon inline.  After my grandparents departed NY, I recall several times staying at the "Aunt Cookie Bed & Breakfast" when traveling.  She was an incredible host & always the fun aunt.  Constantly laughing, talking baseball, or planning the next family gathering.  Growing up in Texas we were separated, but Cookie was the best at staying in touch.  I could always count on her sending an e-mail, card or a phone call reminding me of an anniversary or birthday. 
Andrea & I send our condolences to the entire Welner & Geldman family.  May her memory be a blessing. Our hearts are with you.

Dear Larry, Steve and Lori, and families.
My heart hurts for the loss of your mom and my Aunt Cookie. So many memories to share. She was the most loving, darling aunt all the Geldman kids could have had. How lucky were we to have her in our lives!? I like to think she's dancing with your dad, and playing cards or telling jokes with her sisters and brother, especially my mother, and the "outlaws." All my love to you.
