A private family service will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place under the direction of O'Connor Funeral Home.
Anna was born May 25, 1912, in Stockett, Mont., to Louis and Adolorata Menghini. After her birth, the family moved to Power, Mont., where her parents homesteaded. Anna attended the Hoffman School for two years, prior to attending Power Elementary School. She graduated from Power High School in 1930, and went on to graduate from Western College of Education in Dillon, Mont.
Anna began her teaching career in 1932 at the Malone School, north of Choteau, Mont. In 1934, she returned to her home in Power to teach for the next 14 years.
She married William J. O'Day in 1948. He preceded her in death in 1983.
Anna resided at Cambridge Court Retirement Center for 24 years before moving to Missouri River Manor. During her time at Cambridge Court, she was involved in Sun Riser's Homemaker's Club, Golden Age Toastmasters, AARP, Widowed Persons Club and the Inez Club.
Survivors include her daughter, Marilyn (Roger) Allen; grandchildren Melissa (Brian) Daigle and Bradley Oraw; great-grandchildren Trent Daigle and Alexis Daigle; a brother, Henry (Catherine) Menghini; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Lydia Rosenau; and brothers Rudy, Herman and Art Menghini.
