Randy was born in Fort Worth and spent his high school years in Hillsboro where he made lifelong friends. Prior to enlisting in the Navy, he attended Texas Wesleyan College where he later graduated. Randy enjoyed a long career in the grocery business and as a sales representative for Gillette. He was a quiet and gentle man who wouldn’t hesitate to help a friend. He loved fishing, and after retirement, spent time contributing to his community through the Watauga Citizens on Patrol.
Randy was preceded in death by his mother and father, Martha and Bill Edwards.
Survivors: Wife of 49 years, Amy; son Chad and wife, Staci; daughter, Haley; brother, Michael, and wife Diane; grandchildren Noah and Tori. Loving nieces and nephews and life-long friend, Janene Pearson.
A Celebration of Life is planned for June 17, 2021 at First United Methodist Church, Hurst. Bring pictures and stories to share with family and friends.
