Mary E. Kelleher, 85, of Southlake/Grapevine, Texas died Wednesday January 12th 2022. The daughter of Thomas A. and Mary E. (Corr) Kelleher, she was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts December 7, 1936 and was raised in Brockton, Massachusetts. She was a 1954 graduate of Brockton High School. Mary graduated from Brockton Hospital School of Nursing in 1957. She worked in the nursing field continuously until her retirement from HEB Hospital in 2006. She received the DFW Great 100 Nursing Award in 2000. Toward the end of her career Mary became a Certified Oncology Nurse. She started the American Cancer Society Relay for Life on her nursing unit and walked in many 24 hour relays. She also participated in the Susan Komen Race for the Cure and volunteered at the Blue Bonnet Cancer Camp. After retirement Mary was a breast cancer survivor herself.
Mary is the 2nd oldest of 6 children. She is survived by Tommy Kelleher of Brockton, MA, Ron and his wife Peggy Kelleher of Cotuit, MA, Alice and her husband Joe Giordano of North Easton, MA, and sister-in law Gail Kelleher of Brockton, MA. Mary was preceded in death by brothers John Kelleher, Dennis Kelleher, and sister-in law Janice Kelleher. She is also survived by her immediate family including son Tom Ippolito his wife Jodi, daughters AnnMarie and Georgia of Lantana, TX; daughter Maureen Breece, her husband Duane, and son Dylan of Arlington, TX; son Todd Ippolito his wife Kristina, sons Kurt and Ryan of Trophy Club, TX. Nieces Include Lori Flannery, Terri Hamel, Lynn Bulger, and Tia Bouvier. Nephews include John Kelleher, Brian Kelleher, Kevin Kelleher, James Kelleher, Peter Kelleher, Sean Kelleher, and Ed Giordano.

Visitation is scheduled at J. E Foust Funeral Home in Grapevine, TX on Wednesday January 19, from 4:30 to 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Grapevine, TX on Thursday January 20, at 12:30pm with graveside burial following at Bluebonnet Cemetery in Colleyville, TX.
