Dick is preceded in death by his wife Barbara Ruth Cunningham and son Michael Dean Lindeman. Dick is survived by his daughter, Nancy Jean Smith and sons, James Newman Wilson, Steven Michael Wilson, Harold Richard Lindeman III, Jack Edward Lindeman and Gerald Martin Lindeman and many grandchildren.
Dick was born in Parsons, Kansas July 4, 1929 to parents Harold Richard Lindeman and Marguerite Money. He was in the U.S. Navy from 1947 to 1949 as Yeoman Third Class. He also served in the U.S. Air Force from 1949 to 1950, as a Sergeant. He was employed by Douglas Aircraft in Long Beach, CA in 1951 in the Quality Assurance Unit. He was transferred as Quality Resident Reprehensive for Douglas to Kaman Aircraft (Subcontractor for Douglas) in Bloomfield, CT, then transferred to Irving, Texas. He retired after 39 years of service in January of 1992.
Dick remarried in Thompsonville, CT, on November 11, 1967 to Barbara Ruth Cunningham, born October 27, 1930. Barbara graduated from Hall High School in Hartford, CT in 1948 and was employed at New England Telephone Company until they moved to Dallas, Texas in 1969.
Outside of being an incestuous reader of spy novels, he enjoyed watching sports of all kinds. He was an avid golfer winning several trophies and having 3 hole in ones. He also enjoyed playing bridge and volunteering as a DFW airport ambassador.
