Viola Duch-Cerda, age 90 of Wyoming, MI, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 21, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Martina Johnston; husbands Matthew Duch and Lyle Cerda; sons Gregory Duch and John Duch; daughter-in-law, Dianne Duch; siblings Bruce Johnston, Geraldine Hubbard, and Mary Jane Stratton. She is survived by her children William Duch, Barbara (Steven) McArthur, Tina (Tom) Grover, David (Dalys) Duch, Mark (Sheila) Duch, and daughter-in-law, Cindy Duch; 17 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Viola was a longtime member of Holy Name parish and enjoyed singing in the church choir.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Monday, September 26, 2022 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 1048 Chicago Dr., Wyoming, MI, with committal and burial at Resurrection Cemetery. The family welcomes family and friends to visit from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Cook Funeral Home (West building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville.
