Linda Ruth Westphal, age 73, went to be with her Lord Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Laurels of Hudsonville in Hudsonville, Michigan. Linda was born December 24, 1948 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Arvin and Lois Swart, who preceded her in death. Linda was a loving wife to her husband, Kenneth Westphal, of fifty-six years. Together they raised four children; John (Heather) Westphal, Cathy (Kevin) Palmbos, Kenneth (Amy) Westphal, David Westphal. Linda was a caring grandmother to her six grandchildren; Ashley Palmbos, Lindsey Westphal, Christopher Palmbos, Jacob Westphal, Mint Westphal, Ethan Westphal and great-grandson Tyler Palmbos. Linda was the eldest of three siblings; Shirley Dutcher, Karen (Bob) Prince, John (Carol) Swart. She will be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends.
A private Celebration of Linda’s Life has already taken place. In honor of Linda and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Faith Hospice. Interment will be at Grandville Cemetery. The family welcomes memories and messages in their guest book online at www.cookcaresgrandville.com.
