John Blue

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Marcia, of 55 years; children Jim (Amy) Blue, Michael (Leslie) Blue; grandchildren Kevin, Brandon, Kayleigh, Tara, and Savannah Blue.

John was a member of First Reformed Church of Grandville where he enjoyed fellowship and friendships and, most of all, his love of Jesus Christ.

John had season tickets to the University of Michigan football games for more than 50 years and loved going to games with his family and friends. When he wasn’t cheering on his favorite team, he was an avid golfer. John was an eternal optimist. He was a caring mentor to many.

Visitation will be held from 4 - 8 PM Monday, February 26, 2018 at Cook Funeral Home (West Building), 4235 Prairie St., SW, Grandville, Michigan. Funeral service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at First Reformed Church of Grandville, 3060 Wilson Ave SW, Grandville, with visitation one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Pastor Bud Pratt will be officiating.

In honor of John memorial contributions may be made to First Reformed Church of Grandville Building Fund.
