Jean Baptiste Rainville, age 82, went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, July 10, 2020. Jean was born April 19, 1938 in Fall River, MA to Jean Sr. and Yvonne (Gallant) Rainville. Jean served his country proudly with U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a long time and faithful member of Calvary Church. Jean was preceded in death by his first wife, Carolyn; and his son, Paul J. Rainville.
Surviving are his wife of 16 years, Beverly A. Rainville; children Jim Bunce Jr., Robyn (Scott) Endres, Todd (Diana) Bunce, and Jennifer (Shaun) Biel; grandchildren Ben (Valerie), Elyse (Jamie), Nathan (Maryrose), T.C., Kaila (Nick), Jeremy (Jessica), Luke, Rachel, Rebekah (Tom), Caleb, and Gabriel; seven great-grandchildren; and nephew, Jeff (Sandy) Allen.
Funeral services will be 7 PM Monday, July 13, 2020 at Calvary Church, 707 E. Beltline NE, Grand Rapids. Interment Fort Custer National Cemetery.
