She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Sidney; one grandson Jeffrey Marszalek; and her sister and brother.

She is survived by her daughters, SylviaCalvin Klokkert of Hamilton and Anne Leonard Marszalek of Birmingham; her five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; her brother Fokke Plantinga; and two sisters-in-law, all of the Netherlands.

The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Cook Funeral Home, Jenison Chapel 1889 Baldwin Dr. with Dr. Louis Lotz of Fair Haven Ministries officiating.

The family will meet with relatives and friends on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Jenison.
