David "Dave" Brownell

David "Dave" Earl Brownell, age 60, passed away suddenly at his home. He was born on September 18, 1954. Survivors include his children, Richard Garrett (Jennie) Thorpe and Dawn (John) Dye, six grandchildren and nephews Nathan (Laura) Brownell and Ryan Brownell. David was preceded in death by his father, Jack Brownell, Mother, Patricia Wright and brother, Joel Brownell.

Dave was a 1976 graduate of Ferris State University and a member of the Delta Sigma Pi Fraternity. Dave worked as an insurance claims adjuster for over 30 years. He enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas, time spent at the Torch Lake area with many good friends. Dave had a soft heart for his dog, Mirage and cat, Sureena.

A visitation will be held at 2:00 on Saturday, January 3, at Cook Memorial Chapel, 4235 Prairie Street, SW., Grandville, MI (east building). A celebration of Dave's life will immediately follow at 3:00 PM.
