Christopher “CJ” Jacobs, age 58, passed away at his home in Byron Center, MI on Saturday, November 16, 2024 while surrounded by his family. CJ enjoyed his many trips to Home Depot after coffee with his brother, and being on the softball field with his friends. He loved spending time with his family and making people laugh. He had a big heart for his family and for others and will be deeply missed.
CJ will be remembered by his wife of 38 years, Missy Jacobs; children Anna (Ben) Thull, Spencer Jacobs; grandson, Bruce Charles Thull; siblings Kay Jacobs, Kevin (Kellie) Jacobs; nieces and nephews Jessica Jacobs, Heather (Chris) Mulder, Kenny (Amanda) Jacobs, Shelly (Nate) Molette; and many extended relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418. A funeral service celebrating CJ’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 22 at Cook Memorial Chapel, with visitation one hour prior. In memory of CJ and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to assist with final expenses.
