Our beloved Renee Marguerite Coe, 92, of Kansas City, KS, passed away Jan. 15, 2012. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 am Fri. Jan. 20 at St. Mary's-St. Anthony's Catholic Church 615 N 7th St Kansas City, KS. Burial in Leavenworth National Cemetery. Contributions to American Diabetes Association Renee was born Sept. 18, 1919 in Paris, France. She was the oldest of 8 children. She was raised in La Ferte Bernard, France. She survived the poor conditions of France, the war, and survived the Holocaust. Renee came to the US in 1950 with her husband by boat. Renee was affectionately known as "Danny" to family and friends. She was a homemaker, a wonderful cook and a talented artist. Renee was a beautiful person, inside and out. She saw the good in everything and everyone. She will never be replaced or forgotten. There will never be another quite like Renee. . . Preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, 2 sisters and daughter, Michele Livas. Survived by husband, Leslie of the home; son, Alain and Tylene Jousse, Portsmouth, NH; daughter Nicole and Floyd Jones, Kansas City, KS; 7 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
