Linda Lee Spencer

Linda Lee Spencer, 73, passed away at her home in Grandview, Missouri on August 3rd, 2021 surrounded by loved ones. She was born on December 23rd, 1947 in Kansas City, Missouri to Robert L. and Evelyn M. Welch.

Linda graduated from Grandview High School in 1965. She lived the majority of her life in Grandview, primarily working in the healthcare industry. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and the friends she made over the span of her lifetime. She took great pride in maintaining her home and enjoyed spending time working in her yard.

Linda’s survivors are her son Darin Stewart and his wife Donna of Olathe, Kansas; her son Kevin Stewart of Grandview, Missouri; three grandchildren, Clay Stewart (Elle), Alyson Stewart and Taylor Stewart; and one great grandchild, Lewie Stewart; her sister Dorothy Ann Turnell (Mike) of Peculiar, Missouri; and her brother Willard Welch (Joann) of Belton, Missouri, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her husband Gary L. Spencer and a brother, Robert J. “BJ” Welch.

A visitation for Linda will be held on August 19th, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the McGilley & George Funeral Home at 12913 Grandview Road, Grandview, Missouri 64030. A graveside memorial service will be held on August 20th at 10:00 AM at the Belton Cemetery, 710 S. Scott Ave, Belton, Missouri 64012.
