Elizabeth received a bachelor’s degree from Central Missouri State University and a master’s degree at Baker University. For decades, she was an inspired Science teacher at Our Lady of Peace and the Raymore-Peculiar school district. Her students benefited tremendously from her deep affection for learning and creative lab experiences. She and her husband built a beautiful home in the woods with their own hands so they could rest and recharge. In that home, her paintings and violin music were infused with the fondness of nature. The light and humor that she brought to our lives will be profoundly missed.
She is survived by her loving family; her husband Tom, daughter Sarah and her beloved Ya-Yas.
