Yvonne Sue Felix

On April 24, 1970, Yvonne was united in marriage to the love of her life, Paul, who survives.

Her career was spent as a customer service associate for Old Kent Bank, retiring shortly after the bank became 5/3 Bank after 25 years of service.

Yvonne was an active member of St. James Lutheran Church where she helped run the Youth Group program for many years.

Besides her husband of 53 years, Yvonne is survived by her son P.J. (Nicole) Felix; her granddaughter Stella and grandson Levi, as well as Roger Helmer (Lowell) and Matthias Kasten (Hamburg, Germany) who were like sons to her.

Additionally, Yvonne is survived by many other relatives including her aunt Norma May, nieces Denise Mattias and Danielle Green, nephew Jeremy May, and cousins Jerry May, Melinda Desposito, Robyn Bandinel, and Cathy Lett, and sisters-in-law Regina May, Lynne Sinclair and Laurie Falkowski.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Edward May.

Yvonne was known for her faith, humor, and kindness, and her many close family relationships and long-standing friendships. Yvonne would bake to express her love to those around her.

Visitation will be held on Monday September 25, 2023 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Reyers North Valley Chapel. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday September 26, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Lutheran Church where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
