Steven Paul Plank

Steven “Steve” Paul Plank, age 59, passed away from natural causes at his home on December 9, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Rae Plank. He is survived by his daughter, Carly (wife, Kendra) Parker-Plank; son, Jacob Plank; granddaughter, Ariel Russell; brothers, James (Marilyn) Plank and Patrick Plank (partner Bradley McCoy); sister, Leslie (John) Morrison; nephews, Christopher Plank and Colin (Lisa) Plank; nieces, Jennifer (Bob) Simpson and Kate (Ben) Maycroft; and his grandnieces, Emily Maycroft, Elizabeth Plank, Adelaide Plank, Abby Maycroft, Maggie Maycroft; and grandnephews, Ryan Maycroft, Briggs Plank, and Jenson Plank.

Everyone who knew Steve knew his big heart. He was an extremely loyal friend and family member to everyone who knew him, including many of his former in-laws. The Plank family would like to especially thank Clark and Cheryl Pierson for their unwavering love and support of Steve.

Steve was a graduate of Northview High School and Central Michigan University. He worked as an office furniture installer for Steelcase for over thirty years. He loved his family, music, and dogs, with many of his happiest days spent with family and friends at the family cottage on Pickerel Lake in Newaygo.

Visitations will take place from 4-7 pm on Thursday, December 12, 2024 and from 10-11 am on Friday, December 13, 2024 at Reyers North Valley Chapel, 2815 Fuller Ave. NE, Grand Rapids, MI.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Friday, December 13, 2024, also located at Reyers North Valley Chapel. A light lunch will follow the service at the funeral home.
