Sandra “Sandi” Marie Glennemeier, age 53 of Grand Rapids, passed away on October 21, 2022. Born to Robert and the late Donna (Raap) Glennemeier on January 6, 1969, Sandi was born and raised in Grand Rapids.
After attending Grand Rapids Community College, Davenport University and Spring Arbor University and receiving her bachelors of business, Sandi would later return to GRCC to work as a Financial Aid Advisor for over 30 years. A parishioner of St. Alphonsus, faith was very important to Sandi. She enjoyed listening to Christian music as well as country music, especially the group Home Free.
Overall, family and friends were central to Sandi’s life. Her proudest moment had been welcoming her niece, Stephanie into the world and watching her grow up. Sandi loved to watch Stephanie perform. Anyone who met Sandi knew that she strived to be happy and helpful, and always treated people the way she wanted to be treated. Sandi will be missed dearly.
Sandi is survived by her father Robert; sisters Rebecca Ball, Lori Day, Linda (Eric) Bodily; brothers Wayne (Rosemary) Glennemeier and Warren (Guyla) Glennemeier; honorary children Stephanie Ball, Ryan Looney, Emilee Krulikoski, Austin Looney, James Elzinga, and Ian Krulikoski; and honorary sisters Ann Brown, Tara Devlieg, Amy Looney, Erika Halstedt, Tami Krulikoski, and Julie Heibel. She was preceded in death by her mother, Donna.
