She was preceded in death by: her husband, Paul Burke; daughter, Janice Dewey; parents, Ralph and Myrtle Stuits; and brother, Ned Stuits.
Surviving Marge are: her children, Gary (Candace) Burke, Cheryl Lyn (Terry) Heyboer, and Scott (Cindy) Burke; grandchildren, David, Bryan, Rachelle, Kristen, Shannan, Victoria, Nichole, Tyler, Grant, and Brett; as well as, 24 great grandchildren.
Marge was a very determined individual who wanted the best for her family. So, along with her husband, Paul, they bought land and developed Paradise Cove - a Travel Trailer Resort. Shedding blood, sweat, and tears for 25 years so as to give her children what they needed - an education and knowledge of hard work. Marge was a dedicated mother. She was her children's biggest fan. Whether on athletics, academics, music, and other endeavors.
She graduated from Creston High School and Western Michigan University where she studied physical education. Marge was a member of the Red Hats Society, Garden Club, and volunteered at Butterworth Hospital for over 25 years.
Marge enjoyed gardening, spending time outdoors, and always spending time with her family -especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Marge was thankful for a Iife well-lived, making this an excellent example of how to say goodbye with grace, charm, and gratitude.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 3 at 1:00pm at Reyers North Valley Chapel, 2815 Fuller Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505. The family will welcome guests starting at 12:30pm. Marge will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at Fairplains Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Parkinson's Foundation.
