Lucille A. Williams was born on March 11, 1936 and passed away peacefully on August 17, 2020. She is preceded in death by her four former husbands, daughter; Michelle Zoerman, siblings; Elizabeth “Betty” Hines, Willis Scott, Leon Scott, Frances Thompson and parents; Allen and Mable Scott.
Lucille is survived by her daughters; Dawn (Mark) Pietrusza and Diane (Dave) Feist, her beloved grandchildren; Marie (Zoerman) Kreuger, Rick Zoerman, Christina Meloy, Anthony Maxim, Andrew Maxim and great grandchildren; Jordyn and Nick Kreuger. Lucille is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Lucille was active an active member of the American Legion Aux. Post 459, where she loved to sing karaoke and stay social with friends. She volunteered on the church board and was the community organizer for Kent Community Action Program (C.A.P). Lucille also spent time volunteering at Planned Parenthood, and throughout the years, she learned to play the auto harp with a dulcimer folk group.
Lucille was very much liked by the staff at SKLD Nursing and she was known for her kindness and compassion. She would often sit with roommates to keep them company and make sure they were comfortable as they passed away.
She will be missed by many.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 20th from 4-8 PM at Reyers North Valley Chapel. Funeral Service will be private. Lucille will be laid to rest at Fairplains Cemetery.
There will be a luncheon provided for family and friends from 12-3pm at Eastern Ave. Hall, 506 Eastern Ave. NE in Grand Rapids. Masks are required.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Michigan.
