He was born January 19th, 1938, in Ontario, Canada. He is survived by his beloved wife, Alice (Swanson) McCall; his children: Jerry (Laura) McCall, Aaron (Laura) McCall, Tonia (Dalton) Mayfield, Lillian Bauman, and Heather (Liz) Birch, as well as 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
He served over 22 years in the United States Army, serving in several tours, including two tours to Vietnam. He received several awards, accomplishments, and medals during his service, and completed his service with an honorable discharge at the rank of Master Sergeant. He spent his career years as a master mechanic, continuing to repair vehicles for anyone who had a need, throughout his retirement. He loved music and playing the harmonica.
He was loved and will be missed.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 22 from 11 AM until the Funeral Service at 1 PM at ResLife Church, 5100 Ivanrest Ave SW in Grandville. Jerry's interment will be Thursday, September 24 at 11 AM at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI with full military honors.
