Eloise Joyce Avery

Eloise Avery, age 79, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2012 with her loving children by her side. She was born on December 9, 1933 in Hart, Michigan, the daughter of Lawrence and Arlene (Eisenlohr) Cole. Miss Elli was involved in the restaurant business for over 50 years and most recently worked for Tillman’s Restaurant for over 20 years. She was known for her great baking talents and had a great love for family and friends.

Surviving is her children, Rhonda (Gary) Cousineau of Belmont and Steven (Debbie Finnegan) Avery of Wyoming, MI; 4 grandsons, 4 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister, Barbara (Bill) Null of Florida. Eloise was preceded in death by 3 sons, Gary, Randy and James.

Memorial services in celebration of the life of Miss Elli will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Reyers North Valley Chapel, 2815 Fuller Ave. N.E. Grand Rapids with Rev. Bart LeVan officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
