Alma May Rose, aged 84, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, August 16, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Rose, sister Dolores Malloy, and grandson Kyle. Surviving are her children Helen (Bill) Beemer, Debbie (Doug) Quick, Jerry (Darlene) Rose, Scott (Kim) Rose; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and her two brothers Herbert (Wedot) Attala and Charles (Darlene) Attala. Alma delighted in volunteering at St. Jude Catholic Church and at Butterworth Hospital, and enjoyed bowling. She was also enthusiastic about family time which always involved cooking and family poker games. Please join the family for visitation from 5-8pm on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Reyers North Valley Chapel where the Rosary will be prayed at 5pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at St. Jude Catholic Church (1120 Four Mile Rd. NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525).
