Patricia Jean Joiner

Patricia was born on July 8th 1946 in Grand Prairie, Texas to Ray Carter Vaughn and Jo Jean Cross Bailey.

Patricia is survived by her husband Edward Petty Joiner. They were married for a wonderful 59 years. She is also survived by her children, Greg Joiner and wife Angela, Randy Joiner and wife Carrye, and Jody Joiner and wife Melanie Joiner.

Patricia has nine grandchildren. Brigette Gavin and husband Jonathan, Jasmine Johnson and husband Chris, Taylor Joiner, Jordan Joiner, Logan Joiner, Lauren Easton and husband Garret, Kayley Wade, Alysse Joiner, and Kristyn Jones.

Patricia is also survived by her five great grandchildren, Ethan Gavin, Farah Gavin, Landon Sanchez, Jade Platter, and Reese Gavin.

Patricia is also survived by her siblings, Mike Cross, Ronnie Cross, Rusty Cross, brother-in-law Mark Peterson, brother- and sister-in-law Floyd and Faye Goodman, sister-in-law Linda Baker, and stepfather Cecil Glenn Cross.

Patricia worked in the banking industry for 30 years and retired in 2016 from Chase Bank.

Patricia and Edward celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary June 7th 2022. They were sweethearts since the 3rd grade, joining them together for 67 years.

Patricia was preceded in death by her mother JoJean Cross, Memaw and Pepaw Bailey, Grandma and Grandpa Joiner, brother-in-law Gary Joiner, and sister Glenda Kay Peterson.

A Visitation for Patricia will be held Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Grand Prairie Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, Texas 75050. A Funeral service will take place on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Indian Hills Baptist Church, 814 Tamara Lane, Grand Prairie, Texas 75051. A Committal service will follow at 2:00 PM at Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas 76012.

Pallbearers will be Greg Joiner, Jody Joiner, Randy Joiner, Taylor Joiner, Logan Joiner and Ethan Gavin.
