illness. Born in Williamson, West Virginia, he grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, later married and moved to Texas. After 48 years in the technical engineering field he retired in 2018.
He actively served for many years in his church, Good Shepherd Baptist Church, Fellowship Baptist Church, and Fellowship Family Church in various leadership and support roles, teaching/instructing & coordinating, even choir, always with that great welcoming smile for all he met. He enjoyed Bowling, Fishing, Motorcycle riding, and was a classic car enthusiast.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia, of Grand Prairie, TX; his son, Lieutenant Colonel A. Ray Belcher (US Air Force/USMC) with his wife, Joy, and two grandchildren, Elinor and Marcus, currently on tour of duty in Germany; his mother, F. Jeanette Belcher, and his brother, Bruce Belcher, both of Cleveland, OH; his beloved nieces, Talisa McKnight, of Dallas, Texas; Janell Brown of Grand Prairie, TX, LaToya Brown of Irving, TX and Stephanie Brown of Mansfield, TX; along with many other beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.
