I have nothing but beautiful memories of our life together brother. I am going to miss you dearly, but you had a great impact in my life. If only love would’ve kept you alive you would still be here. I will always miss you have you in my heart forever I love you bro. ❤️

My beloved father, Martin Ramirez, was born on May 21st, 1949 and was given his angel wings on January 6th, of 2022. He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and beloved grandson Alfonso, affectionally called Poncho/Ponchis. He is survived by his adoring wife-Catalina, children-Catalina Venzor, Martin Ramirez, Alma Ramirez, Victor Ramirez, and Janneth Ramirez; his sisters-Maria Mendoza and Estela Alvarez; 12 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. My dad was born in El Paso, Texas and after many adventures traveling for work, he moved to Dallas, Texas to provide our family a better life. My father was known for being generous with his time, love, and ability to help others. He was non-judgmental and helped others with no questions asked. My father made a big impact in the lives of many of our loved ones, friends, coworkers, and strangers because of his helping nature. My siblings and I always knew that we could count on our father as he would move mountains for us. I will always remember my father for being kind, caring, loving, and respectful. He was also known for being an extremely hard worker and for being intelligent. I have many memories with my father and when I take a drive in my neighborhood and other parts of Texas, I will see the fruits of his labor in the many construction and highway projects that he worked on. Although my father will no longer be with us physically, I know he is my guiding light and will be illuminating every step on my path. Dad, you taught me all that I know, and I am the person I am today because of you, but Dad, you did not teach me to live without you. May he rest in eternal peace and light. I will always love you Dad. Thank you for everything- Janneth.

This is one of the very few pictures I have of us. I didn’t get to make memories or remember these memories.  I am sad I didn’t get to make any or that you didn’t get to make any with my kids and grandkids your 3 grandkids and 3 great grandkids.  All I can really say now is that I am glad you are pain free and that may you Rest In Peace.

My Nino, Martin Ramirez earned his angel wings on 01/06/2022. He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and beloved grandson Alfonso, affectionately called Poncho/Ponchis. He is survived by his adoring wife-My Nina Catalina, daughters/sons, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews. My Nino was known for his generosity, willingness to help others, and his sense of humor. He was known for his various sayings that have now become part of our everyday vocabulary. Because of my Nino, my sisters and I had the opportunity to live and grow up in El Paso.  I am so grateful to him because he helped my parents so much and made sure we had a better life. My Nino sweetly wrote me letters when I was away for college and always ended and signed them with "Receive all my love and hugs from your Nino that always has you in his mind. Love, Nino Martin"-and then he would draw a happy face. My Nino was the first person that taught me about American politics and finance.  He was a die hard democrat and taught me the importance of voting. He was extremely intelligent and we often had conversations about politics and public policy. To say that I'm going to miss him is a complete understatement but I know he deserves to be in paradise and pain free. I love you forever Nino, thank you for everything you have done for me and for all our family. I am eternally grateful for you. Rest in eternal peace.
