Maria De Jesus Coronado

Maria was the second oldest of eleven children, and sadly, lost her mother when she was four years old.

She married her high school sweetheart, Alberto Coronado, at Our Lady of Lourdes on August 28, 1965. They were married 54 years. They raised five children and she always had their best interest in mind and worked to instill good values. She was dedicated to being good homemaker and mother. She could be stern when necessary. Maria worked as a beautician, right up to the week before she was hospitalized.

Maria was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Grand Prairie for 50 years. She loved the Lord and her faith was strong. She was loving, caring, generous, and always happy to see you. She had many hobbies; including painting and drawing, sewing, and all kinds of crafts. She loved to play cards, board games and chess. She also collected rocks, shells and elephants.

A visitation will be held 5:00 - 9:00 pm, on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Bean Massey Burge Funeral Home in Grand Prairie, Texas. Maria's Funeral Mass will be at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Grand Prairie on Saturday, at 10:00 am.
