Juan Antonio Hernandez, age 54, of Grand Prairie, Texas passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024 in Arlington, Texas. Juan was born November 23, 1969 to Juan Hernandez and Elida de Leon in Dallas, Texas.
After high school, Juan received his certification in HVAC and eventually worked for Cushman and Wakefield Commercial Real Estate of Dallas. On October 31, 2007 he married Donna Cress and they recently celebrated 17 years together. Juan was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Grand Prairie.
Juan enjoyed music and really loved to cook, especially barbequing on his outside grill. His favorite times were spent with his family.
Juan is survived by his loving wife, Donna Cress Hernandez; son, Anthony (Margarita) Machado, Sr.; grandchildren, Anthony Machado, Jr., Alicia Elida Machado and Austin Machado; nephews, Xavier Mendoza and Christian Mendoza; niece, Heavenly Jade Mendoza; and his brother-in-law, Mark Mendoza. He is preceded in death by his sister, Amy Renee Mendoza.
A Celebration of Life for Juan will be held Friday, November 22, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Grand Prairie Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, Texas 75050.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
