As an educator for many years, Elizabeth made a huge impact on many young lives. Several of her students continued to stay in contact with Elizabeth until her death. She took great comfort in hearing their achievements and accomplishments throughout their lives.
Elizabeth and her husband Ray shared a beautiful like together marked by their love of travel. Those adventures were the happiest and joyous times of their lives.
Her kindness, generosity, and willingness to help others touched many hearts in special ways of those who knew Elizabeth.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband; Ray Valdez, Parents; Donald and Eloise Thornquist, sister; Donna Mayo, brother in laws; Larry Sawyers and Jerry Stewart. Survived by her siblings; Susie Sawyers, Linda (Wally) Robbins, Michael Mayo, Rita Stewart, John (Edna) Thornquist, Steve (Amy) Thornquist, Sandy Liebau, granddaughter; Melanie (Mario) Muruato great granddaughters; Mia, Mariah, Marcella, Madison. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews.
