Mr. Eaves was born in Holdenville, Hughes County, Oklahoma to Meril Lee Eaves and Isadora Bohannan Eaves and was the oldest of nine children. He attended Atoka High School in Oklahoma and was a long-time resident of Arlington and Grand Prairie.
He was employed at and retired from Menasco Manufacturing of Fort Worth for many years and was a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, Local Lodge Number 2121, with the nickname of "Superman".
He was a long-time member of Trinity Baptist Church in Grand Prairie.
His interests were cooking, western and adventure movies, antiques, automobiles, gospel and country music, as well as drawing, especially dogs and animals.
Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 13th, 2022, at Ben Massey Burge Funeral Home. The funeral at Bean Massey Burge Funeral Home Chapel will be conducted by Reverend Steven Giordano and Reverend Tom Heath officiating at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 14th, 2022.
Burial will follow at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens with Bean Massey Burge directing.
Mr. Eaves is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carolyn Ramona of Grand Prairie, four brothers; Floyd Eaves (Beverly), and Otis Edward Eaves (Jan), both of Arlington,Texas, Ronald Morris Eaves of Atoka, Oklahoma, Gary Benjamin Eaves (Loraine), of Tacna, Arizona, one sister, Sharron Wendelsdorf (Joe), of Arlington, Texas, one uncle, Lloyd Bohannan, of Grandview, Texas, one aunt, Bettie Eaves, of Oklahoma, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters; Patsy Sue Allen, Janet Dorene Williamson, and Evelyn Elaine Eaves, and numerous other family members.
