Betty “Beth” Loraine Woodruff Rosales, 70, of Grand Prairie, Texas died May 24, 2016. She was born in Greenville, TX on December 12, 1945 to Bill and Alene Woodruff. Beth grew up in Greenville. Before she could graduate she was forced to leave school to go to work, but went back to get her GED. She put herself through school at Northlake College and received her Master’s Degree in Engineering. She worked for Abbott Laboratories for 32 years. Beth was a devoted wife, wonderful mother and loving grandmother. She was the definition of self-less, giving everything including her last dollar to a complete stranger if they were in need. Beth was as sweet as she was beautiful. She had an infectious smile that she wore proudly and always made sure to put her family first and provide everything she never had for her children. Beth was not just a mother to her children; she was a mom to the neighborhood children and her children’s friend. She was devoted to taking care of her kids and grandkids, always pleasing them through their stomachs. Known best for her cooking, people often requested her fried chicken over a birthday cake. She was a true to the core Proverbs 31 Christian woman. Beth married Roy R. Rosales on May 23, 1977. She used the power of prayers to bless her family, friends and others. When she would help others she used the situations to minister to them. Beth was a member of Evangel Temple for 20 years under Pastor Grey until he moved to Belgium. She then began attending Calvary Baptist Church in Grand Prairie, TX with her daughter, Jennifer, husband and family. Betty is preceded in death by her husband Roy R. Rosales, mother Alene McDonald Woodruff and father Bill Woodruff, siblings: Mary Lawrence, Jenny, Lennie Woodruff, Valarie Kline, Sonny Woodruff. She is survived by her sons Patrick Hatt Jr., Patrick Hatt and his wife, Leah, Bryan Martin and his wife, Donna, Buddy Martin and his wife, Brenda; only daughter Jennifer Bolivar and her husband, Gilbert; grandchildren: Chloe Elizabeth Bright, Savannah Claire Bolivar, Handsome Bolivar, Gage Hatt, Blake Martin and his wife, Karis, Bailey Martin, Christina Martin, Lyndi Martin, excitedly anticipating her first great-grandchild, brothers: Michael Woodruff, Billy Woodruff; sister Peggy Bryant and numerous cousins, nieces and nephew.
