Philip (Better known as Phil, Dad, or Pops) was born June 24, 1939, to Josephine Fessler (Lennox) and Phillip H Fessler. He spent his youth in Michigan and attended St Francis School for Boys in Detroit, Michigan through the 10th grade. Upon graduating, Phil entered the Navy. When he was honorably discharged, Phil ventured West to Long Beach California where he began working for the United States Postal Service and where he met the love of his life Sharon Fessler (Thomas) our free-spirited mother. Phil was always willing to help those in need which included stray dogs, cats, and occasionally stray human children. They acquired many stray humans over the years that were always treated as family. After retirement Phil became a river raft guide and school bus driver. Phil enjoyed reading, rafting and kayaking.
