Peter Harold Lelich

Born on May 2nd, 1948, in San Francisco, California, Peter was the beloved son of John Louis Lelich and Marguerite Theresa McInerney. Peter attended the University of Michigan and shortly after, embarked on his journey as an educator. Peter was well respected by his colleagues and developed positive and meaningful connections with all the students and families he served.

Peter Harold Lelich is survived by his four brothers and sisters, Tom, Bill, Joyce, and Theresa; his three children, Ross, Anthony, and Peter; and his granddaughter, Charlotte. Peter enjoyed live music, watching sports (Michigan football especially), listening to music, dancing, and attending his grandchildren’s and son’s sporting events.

Peter will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Peter is remembered for his wittiness, a deep and unwavering love for his family, a positive mental attitude, resilience, character, compassion and an exceptional ability to relate to others.

A rosary for Peter will be held Monday, August 5, 2024 at 4:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 230 N 3rd St., Grand Junction, Colorado 81501.
