Peggy was born on March 23rd, 1941 to her parents Harry and Elsie Moore. She was born in Baggs, Wyoming, and was the youngest of their 10 children.
Peggy waited tables in the Grand Valley for over 50 years, until she retired, She worked for the Leany family at Starvin’ Arvin’s. She wholeheartedly enjoyed working there for them. It didn’t take long for her to make their family her own. She loved them dearly.
When she wasn’t traveling around the world with her friends, she loved to sew anything she could. She would crochet blankets for all that she loved. But most of all she loved playing cribbage!
Peggy’s absolute greatest love in her life tough, was her friends and family. She had such a large family, and they all loved her to the moon and back!
She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Sherry and Bill Karp, her son and daughter in love Jim Stephenson and Leisa Wright, daughter in law for many years, Renee Stephenson. Her three granddaughters and their spouses, Krissy Twitchell, Casey, and JD Ward, and Kayla and JT Santucci. She had 8 great grandchildren who gave her the most joy you can imagine, Pryce, Hailey, Kayden, Bailey, Cameron, Lokyn, Rylee, and Bentlee. Her two brothers, Jack and George Lord, along with her sisters, Mary Tschiffely, Joan Norris, and sister in law Gayle Lord. Peggy also had many nieces and nephews, their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren that she loved deeply as well.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents, her brother Bill Lord, and her sisters, Elizabeth “Tommy” Matthews, Clara Denton, Evelyn Lawson, and Helen Noe.
We will not be having a service at this time. In the spring or early summer, we will have a celebration of life and spread her ashes. We would love everyone to join us, and we will keep you updated.
