Linda G. Simpson

1947, in Grand Junction, Colorado. She married Marvin Pederson in 1965 and

together they had two children, Tracy Pederson [Melanie] and Christi Sampson

[Kevin]. Linda treasured her children and the subsequent ten grandchildren, and

five great grandchildren. all of whom survive. Linda is also survived by two

younger brothers, Michael Conley and Timothy [Sandy] Conley.

Linda was a legal secretary/paralegal in Grand Junction for most of her working

career. Linda married Alan Simpson, whom she met through the law firm, in 1982.

Alan, and his deceased wife, Dorothy, had 3 children, Doss Simpson, [Sarah] Alana

Popoff [Victor] and David Simpson [Kyle Anne]. Alan and Linda were married 32

years. He preceded her in death on July 1, 2014.

Linda was active in a garden club, investment club, and Toastmaster's. She and

Alan traveled frequently but always loved returning to their home in western

Colorado. She graduated with honors both from high school and college. She

conquered her life challenges with her faith in God. She is grateful to her Christian

friends for the many hours they spent together studying the Bible and sharpening

each other's faith, and for their prayers and support through her battle with

cancer.
