Kelly Kochevar

09/08/1961- 09/26/2024

Kelly age 63, passed away peacefully in her sleep in her home in Grand Junction, Colorado on Thursday, September, 26, 2024.

Kelly was born to her parents, Erma Jean Roberts and Bernard F, Kochevar Sr. in Salida, Colorado. In 1977 the family moved to Buena Vista, Colorado where she graduated from high school in 1979.

Kelly had a long-term career as a bookkeeper at Kochevar Enterprises and at the time of her passing she held a position as an in home caretaker for Touch of Care.

She spent most of her free time with her family, caring for her father or talking to her daughter and granddaughter for nightly video calls and games. When she was not spending time with her family, she could be found doing arts and crafts and sewing. She loved to camp and shop when given the opportunity to do so with family.

Kelly was no stranger to struggles in life, but her greatest accomplishment in life were having her children and grandchildren and gaining her sobriety from alcohol for well over a decade.

Kelly was a wonderful person who loved deeply and cared for everyone she knee. Her love for Jesus Christ ran just as deep as her love for her family. She was full of compassion, sass and quick wit.

Kelly was preceded in death by her mother Erma (05/29/2021) and her brother Norvie Kochevar (12/08/2022).

She is survived by her father Bernard and her step-mother Marlene Kochevar, her brothers Bernard E. Kochevar (Jeanann), Dwight Kochevar (Linda), and Neal Kochevar, her children Alexandria J. Davis (Adrian), and James ‘Jim’ E. Morrison IV (Anika ‘Nikki’), grandchildren Skyler Jull, Willow Grant, James Morrison V, and Eleanor Morrison and many others who knew and loved her.

Services for Kelly will be held at Callahan- Edfast Mortuary in Grand Junction, Colorado on Friday, October 4, 2024 @ 4PM.

All who knew her and loved her are welcome to join the family to remember her at the service.
