Kathy Stokes, 70, of Grand Junction, passed away on June 6, 2023 at HopeWest Hospice Care Center.
Kathy was born on December 29, 1952, in Groom, Texas, to JD and Dora (Baker) Richmond. Her special achievements were working as a victims advocate for the Mesa County Sherriff’s Office, and retiring as director of assisted living. She was an animal lover, and would help anyone and everyone if she could.
Kathy is survived by her daughter, Jamie (Buck) Christian, and their son, Kade; her son, Robert (Perla) Stokes and their children, Jd, Kaylee, Sammy, Abby, and Naomi; and her brother, Joel (Sandy) Richmond.
