Jonnie Lee Baldwin, age 65, of Grand Junction, Colorado passed away on November 10, 2016, from lung disease. She was surrounded by the love of her family and will be missed dearly.
She was born to Lee and Cherry Fazio in Grand Junction on August 11, 1951. She has a sister Deborah Fazio and brother Larry Lyon who she cherished. She graduated from Grand Junction High School in 1970 and attended Mesa State College. She was a life-long resident of Grand Junction.
Jonnie was married to her high school sweetheart Samuel J. Baldwin on June 9, 1972 at St. Joseph’s Church in Grand Junction, CO, for a beautiful 44 years. They have two adoring daughters Lacy Ann Scott and Brandy Bo Baldwin, whom she adored. Family was foremost to Jonnie. Her family never doubted that she loved them.
Jonnie was a professional interior decorator who loved to decorate people’s homes as well as her own. She was very passionate about decorating and making things organized and beautiful. Jonnie loved spending time with her family. Jonnie loved the holidays and her home was infamously decorated for every season. She loved to travel to the beach with her family and play in the ocean.
She is survived by her beloved husband; her loving daughters; son-in-law Troy Scott; sister; brother; brother-in-law Lee Baldwin; many nieces and nephews; and grandnieces and grandnephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter Jennifer, her parents, and her in-laws James and Ruth Baldwin.
A memorial service will be held at Canyon View Vineyard Church Chapel on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at 12:00 p.m. Reception to follow. Memorial contributions can be made in Jonnie’s honor to National Multiple Sclerosis Society at http://www.nationalmssociety.org.
