Janet Alcon

Janet Louise Alcon entered into the rest of The Lord on October 27, 2021 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband Eloy and children Thomas, Brian, and Leslie, brother Dick (Claudia) Darley, sister Sharon (Don) Patton. Janet was preceded in death by her father, mother, and her sister Laurie Kunze.

Janet Louise Alcon was born on October 31, 1959 to Dr. Alfred and Patricia Darley. She attended schools locally and graduated from Grand Junction High School in 1978 and Mesa State College in 1981. She was a homemaker and worked at the Mesa County Public Library for the past 15 years. She enjoyed reading, biking, hiking, knitting, crocheting, and good movies. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and will be dearly missed.

A Rosary Service will be held at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 7:00pm. A memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 10am.
