Jane Elaine Bangert-Campbell

Jane was born on May 4, 1954, in Lynwood, California, to Douglas C. and Maureen (Ryan) Campbell. She spent her childhood in La Mirada, California, and graduated from Neff High School. Jane married Matthew Bangert on March 16, 1991, in San Clemente, California. She was the vice president of Matt Bangert Plumbing.

Janie was a brilliant and hilarious woman. She used to joke, and rightfully so, that a camera crew ought to be following her around. She knew her antics and adventures were more interesting than anything anyone could make up! For those of us who we part of those adventures, and there were many, will never let those good times fade away.

She was a dynamic woman. Janie was the epitome of why people write love songs and poetry. She brought with her rhythm and soul to every interaction.

Her daughters, Katie and Shannon, her grandsons Emmett and Coyote, her husband Matt, and her sisters Marybeth and Cary and all her many cousins and countless friends will miss her and she will live on in the soundtrack of our lives.

May the memories you hold of her bring you joy.

A celebration of life will take place on November 2, 2024, at 12:00 p.m., at 1436 W. 14th Street, Upland, California 91786. Memorial contributions may be made in Jane’s name to HopeWest Hospice, 3090 N. 12th Street, Unit B, Grand Junction, CO 81506.
