Eleanor Kay Hubbartt (Beaudoin)

Eleanor Kay Hubbartt (Beaudoin), age 86, of Palisade, CO, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at her home. Eleanor was born on August 6, 1937, in Ogallala, NE to Frank Earl Beaudoin and Bette Francis Beaudoin (Rathke). She spent her childhood in Palisade, CO helping her mother run their family business Beaudoin Farms on 35Rd and was a former resident of both Grand Junction, CO, and Los Angeles, CA.

She graduated from Palisade High School and earned a Business Degree from Mesa College. On December 13, 1958, she married Rodney Revere Hubbartt and moved to California, later returning to Colorado in 1992 and then started a business Grand Valley Telecommunications with their son Bill in 1998. In addition to this, she and her husband Rodney were property investors here in Mesa County.

Throughout her life, she was a business owner, bookkeeper, and homemaker. She enjoyed the mountains, camping, fishing, doll making, seamstressing, crocheting, playing bridge with her friends, painting, and crafting.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her beloved husband Rodney and her parents Frank and Bette.

Survivors include her son, William Francis Hubbartt and wife Marchelle I. Hubbart of Palisade, CO; her daughters, Catherine Gail Maxville and husband Rick S. Maxville, and Michelle Anne Hubbartt and husband John Reed, both of Grand Junction, CO; 5 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary, Grand Junction, CO, on Monday, November 6, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Palisade Cemetery, Palisade, CO.
