Eilene M. Strain

Eilene was born on January 10, 1924 in Mesa, Colorado from the union of John E. and Margaret Sanford. She attended High School in Fruitvale and was a Clifton resident for sixty-eight years. She married Willis C. (Bill) Strain in Grand Junction Colorado, he preceded her in death.

Eilene was a homemaker and enjoyed collecting hummingbirds and tending her yard and flowers.

She leaves behind a son, Orville R. Strain, of Evergreen; one daughter, Judy M. Cotts of Grand Junction; a brother and sister, Bud R. Sanford and Leona Brophy both of Grand Junction; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Eilene was preceded in death by her husband; a grandson Kent Strain and a son-in-law LeRoy Cotts.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Martin Mortuary with burial to follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

A visitation will be held Monday, December 30, 2013 from 5-7:00 PM at the mortuary.
