My memories of Dana are still very much alive. We were Christian sisters sharing similar interests. We lunched together the first Friday of each month at the Preserve Restaurant with our tennis friends. 
We  sat with Dana & Steve at the CCSB Church on Sundays. Quite often we would go out to brunch after church. 
We also had a supper club at the HOA 1 private dining room where we took turns meeting with the chef & planning meals/menus for 4 couples. Such memorable meals & great conversation to enjoy!
 Dana was a good friend. She loved her rescued  greyhounds & working at the dog shelter. She & Steve walked their dogs multiple times each day. Dana was a dedicated person & very caring. 
When Steve & Dana moved to CO, they left a void in our friendship circle, but it was their time to move closer to their family. We would correspond via email. 
Dana’s illness took us off guard & we prayed there might be a cure or miracle. Dana was physically fragile, but strong in spirit. May Dana’s gentle soul be remembered always by her friends & family.

Am so sorry to see tonight on line that an old friend Dana Leane has passed away. She and I grew up in Darien CT..I drove her to school every morning with several of our friends. Although I had not seen Dana for many years, she had remained in my mind and prayers . Hopefully her husband and children will find peace in her passing. Kathie Brown Irvine

My dear tennis friend & fellow Christian sister: We shared many good times, Dana. Having lunch at the Preserve the1st Friday of each month with many retired tennis players & friends. Also Library dinners  with Peggy/ Warren , Susan /Jim, Pam/Steve & you/your Steve. Rita often  joined us & those were such  memorable times.
We met after church for brunch with Patsy & Dick and had the best conversations. We missed you & Steve when you left SaddleBrooke for Grand Junction in 2019 & then we left for Seattle in 2020.  It is our greatest legacy to grow old with family close by. May you rest in peace & know that your kindness & Christian attitude left an imprint on those who you encountered along the road of life.  God has added another Angel to his fold of believers! 😇
