Craig spent his school years in Green River, Wyoming attending high school at Green River high and also attended Western Wyoming Community College.
Craig was a member of the Eagles in Green River, Wyoming and Elks Club in and around Grand Junction, Colorado.
Craig was a business owner of Centennial RV and former owner of Piping Specialties which he built from the ground up.
Craig loved playing the drums; music; camping, boating and fishing; supporting the Denver Broncos; spending time with his grandkids and watching them play sports; hanging out with his dog Lily and spending time with his family. Craig never met a stranger and would give you the shirt off of his back.
You could often catch Craig at “Bostons” in the afternoons with his buddies and making new friends.
Craig was preceded in death by his parents.
Craig is survived by his sons, Rick (Maurgan) Porter of Green River, Wyoming and Brad (Amber) Porter of Grand Junction, Colorado and daughter Cara (Chris) Erickson of Green River, Wyoming; sister Karen (Paul) Blasi of Green River, Wyoming and grandchildren; Tyson, Chase (Destini) & Kelsey Erickson, Konnor, Kasyn & Gunner Porter, and Addison & Koleson Porter; nieces, Tana (John) Lundgren and Toni (Jim) Wakely.
Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of your choice.
A Celebration of Life will also take place at 4:00 pm at “The Eagles” on June 17, 2021 at 88 North 2nd East Street, Green River, Wyoming 82935
