Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Victory Life Church, 2066 U.S. Highway 6&50 in Fruita.
Survivors include one son, Mark of Clifton; three daughters, Carolyn Pacheco of Clifton, Angela Johnson of Grand Junction, and Allison Wanczyk of Denver; one sister, Jeanne Magor of Farmington, New Mexico; mother Avis Cloud Richter of Grand Junction; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Carol Cloud Wanczyk
November 11, 1949 - October 3, 2014
Carol was born November 11, 1949, at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado to Avis (Isaacs) Cloud and Kenneth Cloud.
She graduated from Grand Junction High School and Parkes School of Business, Denver, Colorado. She was a psychiatric technician at the Regional Center, and a host home provider. Carol was a born caregiver.
As a kid, she explored the Redlands; hiking, climbing trees and picnicking. The happiest days of her life were when she was raising her children. She said she enjoyed spending time with family, vacations at the beach, and exploring her artistic side. She adored her dog, Isaac. Carol had a wonderful sense of humor.
She is survived by her mother, Avis Cloud Richter; son, Mark Wanczyk; daughters, Carolyn Pacheco; Angela (Michael) Johnson; Allison (Bryant) Wanczyk-Hall; sister, Jeanne (Rick) Magor; step-sisters, Sue (Dean) Hines; Jan (Ken) Henry, and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Carol's family would like to thank Amanda Janney for her support, caregiving, and friendship over the last few years.
Services will be held at Victory Life Church, October 7, 2014 at 2:00 p.m.
