Betty Louise Cronkhite

2-18-1952 to 8-23-18

Betty passed away on the afternoon of Thursday the 23rd of August. Born Betty Louise Harbath to Helen and LaVern Harbath she lived in Montrose and Grand Junction her entire life. Betty married Jack Cronkhite on November 19th, 1983. They loved each other with a love that never quit. Betty worked for Mesa County for 29 years retiring in 2009 as the business administrator for the Mesa County Health Department. She loved music and especially loved playing the piano and singing in church worship groups as well as leading both the adult and kid’s choirs over the years. Her church family was a huge part of her life.

Betty is survived by her husband Jack Cronkhite, her sister Pat Castillo and brother Paul Harbath. Her children Tannah Snow, Tony Schell, Troy Cronkhite and Kent Cronkhite as well as 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren with one more on the way. Services will be held on Friday, August 31st at Canyon View Vineyards Church at 736 24 ¼ Road, Grand Junction at 10:00am. Donations can be made to
