Ambrose "Broski" Edward Dale Moore

In the gentle twilight hours of Friday, February 2nd, amidst a serene fog, our cherished son Ambrose embarked on his eternal journey. At the tender age of only 17, he departed this world unexpectedly, leaving behind an indelible void in our hearts.

Born on January 3rd, 2007, Ambrose brought boundless joy, love, and laughter into our lives. His vibrant smile and radiant eyes illuminated every room he entered. A compassionate brother, a loyal friend, and a beloved son, his absence will forever be felt by all who were touched by his presence.

During his short but meaningful time on earth, Ambrose displayed a remarkable talent for the outdoors and the arts. With a solid work ethic, unwavering determination, and a touch of wry humor, he excelled as an artist and nature enthusiast. His awe-inspiring photographs, wildlife sketches, and captivating videos spoke volumes about his creativity and true passions. Ambrose took pride in his ability to provide for his family, elders, and community.

Yet, beneath his seemingly cheerful demeanor, our beloved son grappled with inner demons that eventually overwhelmed him. Despite his brave battle with mental health struggles, he silently carried invisible afflictions that went unnoticed until it was tragically too late. In memory of Ambrose, we implore everyone to raise awareness about the significance of mental health support and the importance of seeking help when needed. No one should suffer in silence. We earnestly plead with you, if you recognize someone who is suffering, do not hesitate to speak up.

To honor the radiant spirit of Ambrose and cherish the profound impact he made on our lives, we invite you to join us for a memorial service on Thursday, February 8th, at 5:00 pm. The service will be held at Lake Roosevelt High School, followed by a dinner at the Lucy Covington Government Center, where friends and family can share their fondest memories, stories, or reflections as we pay tribute to his life.

Ambrose is proceeded in death by his foster mother Beverly Haffner, cousin Nick Stanger, his Aunt Sandy and Uncle Larry, his biological sister Laressa Desautel-Jack, maternal and paternal great grandparents. He is survived by his grandparents, mother and father, siblings, and many family and friends.

In this time of profound sorrow, let us focus on the radiant light that emanated from within him. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Seven7Seconds Organization in memory of Ambrose, as we strive to support others who face similar struggles.
